**Implementation Details** I created a script `merge_config.py` to handle the merge logic: 1. **Objects**: Recursively merged. Keys missing in `override` were preserved from `base`. 2. **Arrays**: `features` in `override` completely replaced the one in `base`. 3. **Primitives**: Values like `version` and `server.port` were overwritten. 4. **Nulls**: `debug` and `remove_this` were removed because they were set to `null` in `override`. The script `merge_config.py` is preserved in the directory if you need to run it again or inspect the logic.
